The Kathmandu in February can still be cold. I had to carry double layers of clothing. You helped me find a short trip to spend a quality time in Nepal. Few days on the road and a holy tour of Muktinath temple was gold! The entire trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara to Jomsom was amazing. Once you get off the plane you jump into a jeep and the whole bandwagon begins.
I found Muktinath to be tranquilizing. The old temple, countless stone taps, pilgrims bathing in the cold water was truly inspiring. I’d love to go on a longer trip with you guys the next time I visit Nepal. ~Sarah Thorpe (Brisbane, Australia)

After the Pashupatinath’s visit, you’ll be taken to the Boudhanath. A large domed shaped Buddhist stupa, Boudhanath holds huge religious significance among the Tibetan Buddhists of Nepal. A major shrine on ancient Indo-China trade route Boudhanath offered blessings to traders and scholars for safe journey through the high Himalayan passes to Tibet. Saffron robed monks circumambulating Boudhanath, colorful prayer flags touching the skyline from the dome pinnacle to the base of large monument and the and outlets selling Tibetan souvenirs makes this place a true Tibet outside Tibet.
Swoyambhunath is a buddhist stupa located at the top of the hill. The legend says, the stups originated thousands of years ago. Today, it is an important religious as well as tourist site. From the top, you can see almost the entire Kathmandu city.
