Kalinchowk Bhagwati is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Kali located in the Kalinchowk village of Dolkha district. It falls inside the Gaurishankar Conservation Area; and is mostly visited by the Hindu pilgrims throughout the year.

Kalinchowk is named after the hilltop shrine Kali- the Hindu Goddess and a symbol of Power. From here, two giant rivers: Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi originates. At the top, the shrine resides facing south with the background of scenic mountains. The site is surrounded by metal tridents and Bells.

A Kalinchowk Trek is more like a hike which offers adventure with some great views. Mount Gaurishankar, Mt. Langtang, Melungste and few of the great mountains seen from the top of Kalinchowk. You can probably take up this activity when you are in Kathmandu for a short trip.
