The trek to Everest is the eye-candy for most of the trekkers around the world. An opportunity to view some of the greatest mountains on Earth is offered by this trek. Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Makalu are few of the great mountains you will see on this trek. The 14 Days Everest trekking assures you complete fun and adventure.
Chitwan National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Southern Nepal. It is the first national park of Nepal, established in 1973, and also one of the most popular destinations for Eco-tourists and wildlife enthusiasts. It is home to the most endangered species of animal, Royal Bengal tiger, and protected species of One-horned rhinos.
The trek begins at Lukla, a small airport town in Khumbu. The trail ascends to Namche Bazaar through Phakding. Namche Bazaar is the highlight of the trek. A most populated Sherpa town is known for its open market, luxurious or budget lodges and ethnic lifestyle. Hiking around the place is most recommended. It ascends further to Tengboche, another highlight of the trek. Tengboche boasts the highest monastery on Earth. The monastery is over 100 years old and the popular Mani Rimdu festival is held every year to commemorate its legacy. Few other Sherpa villages you’ll come across are Dingboche and Lobuche. From here, the trail ascends towards Everest Base Camp through Gorakshep. A day tour is enough to see around the base camp and return to Gorakshep to prepare for the next day hike to the Kala Patthar.
Sagarmatha National Park, Kala Patthar, Jungle Safari inside Chitwan National Park and the tour of ethnic villages are the highlights of this trip. You must be prepared to endure the sheer warmth of the southern basins during the trip.
Poses difficulty as the terrain, temperature and altitude may differ along the trail. Max. altitude may reach over 5000 m and the hike requires over 6 hours a day.

Everest trek proved to be a challenge for me. I never had trekked to such great height before, however, the proper acclimatization and sound health helped me reach the base camp at no time.
Thanks to the team of Caravan Outdoors, specially to Hom Rana, for making the trip successful. The tea-houses were clean and standard, likewise the hotel in Kathmandu. Fabulous trip and well organized overall. ~Rob Ellington (NSW, Australia)
